let’s be friends
Hey! I’m Missy
Mama to three amazing kiddos, coffee enthusiast, emotional support snack carrier, and the heart behind Somewhere On The Spectrum.
From therapy appointments come insights. Sensory meltdowns happen in grocery store aisles. There are joyful wins that no one else quite understands. You experience those quiet late-night moments where you Google everything and hope you’re doing enough.
When my son Benji was diagnosed with autism, our world shifted. Suddenly, we were learning a whole new language — IEPs, sensory needs, routines, insurance, therapy schedules. At the same time, we tried to be a normal family. We wanted to laugh, play, eat dinner together, and find joy in the small stuff.
I created Somewhere On The Spectrum because I wished something like this existed when we were just starting out.
